CAN BUS FMS Monitoring (FMS)

Combined data for greater insight, next to the FMS SAE J1939  standard parameters it’s possible to combine several data to get even more useful data like:

  • Engine Speed + Engine Power Used + Coolant temperature will give you possible high power request whit a cold engine.

  • Vehicle Speed and the Accelerator pedal position can give you information about coasting.

  • Vehicle Speed and the Brake switch gives you information about braking at highway speeds (which tells you that the speed is possibly too high).

  • Axle weight + Distance gives to data about the load of the vehicle in relation to the weight.

  • Distance + Brake switch = meters of braking activity.

  • Acceleration/Deceleration Turn information get from accelerometer can tell info about driver Behaviour

FMS SAE J1939

FMS data gathered by the device

  • Accelerator pedal position (0–100%)

  • Axle weight (kg)

  • Brake switch (on/off)

  • Clutch switch (on/off)

  • Cruise control (on/off)

  • Engine coolant temperature

  • Engine speed

  • FMS-Standard software version (supported modes)

  • Fuel level (0–100%)

  • High-resolution vehicle distance

  • Power take-off (PTO) (Status/Mode)

  • Service distance

  • Tachograph information

  • Total engine hours (h)

  • Total fuel used (liters since lifetime)

  • Vehicle identification number (ASCII)

  • Vehicle improvement (all round)

  • Vehicle speed (wheel based)

  • Vehicle speed (from tachograph)
